Study finds many schools offer less healthy snacks

Reuters reports on a report released Thursday by the Pew Charitable Trusts and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which found that many US schoolchildren are being served less healthy snack foods.

The report is based on 2010 data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The report indicated that in most states, a significant percentage of schools sell high-calorie, low-nutrient snacks.
