I’m preaching this Sunday. I hope you can come!

I hope you and yours had a Christ-centered, warm-memory-creating, family-filled Christmas. I wanted to let you know that I’ve been asked to preach this Sunday (December 30, 2012) at my home church, the Little Log Church in Palmer Lake, CO. I hope those of you in the area can come.

Click here for a map to the church location. Fellowship, coffee, and doughnuts begin at 930 AM in the church basement. The services begin about 10:09 AM.

I’ll be preaching on the topic, “The Palm Tree Christian,” in which I’m planning to begin with Psalm 92 and then review the ‘wisdom’  of the divine designed of the common palm tree. I’m praying that each listener, young and old, will be able to apply these timeless principles to their lives.

During the sermon, I’ll be trying to answer some of these questions:

  1. How do you survive a drought in your life?
  2. Why will you survive best in a good grove?
  3. How can you withstand the major storms of life?

For those of you who cannot attend, CD’s of my sermon may be available from the church. And, if you have any questions, call the church at 719-481-2409.

  1. Connie Durbin says:

Walt, how wonderful for you to be preaching this Sunday. Sounds really good and will be praying for the Lord to be with you as you do. I might try to order the CD. Hope you are all well. I am doing well and enjoyed the Christmas season with my little grandbaby Elias, son of Brian and his wife Andrea! Tell Barb hello for me.

  2. Will do Connie. Hope the CD of the message is a blessing. I hope you and yours have a Christ-centered, warm-memory-creating, family-filled, and Blessed New Year.
