A person of understanding delights in wisdom.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. … The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails—given by one shepherd. Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body. Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.

“Let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord. … For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. …  I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills. … The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. … In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. … Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. … Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
