Encourage Others

Take your evil deeds out of my sight! Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed.

He … encouraged them with these words: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.

Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers.

Tychicus, the dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord … I am sending him to you for this very purpose … he may encourage you.

When (Barnabas) arrived … he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.

After Paul and Silas came out of the prison, they went to Lydia’s house, where they met with the believers and encouraged them.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
