British Teenager Becomes 14th Woman to Die From Dangerous Abortion Drug

LifeNews is reporting another death of a woman from an abortion drug. Eight women in the United States have died from the Mifepristone abortion drug, one in Canada, now three in the UK, one in Sweden, and one in France.
My Take?
I join with the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG) in opposing the destruction of an unborn human being at any stage of development. Like virtually all pro-life physicians, we oppose pharmaceutical abortion with the same vigor that we oppose surgical abortion.
However, pharmaceutical abortion has now become a reality of American medical practice, sanctioned by the FDA and ACOG. A stipulation of the FDA’s approval of Mifeprex is that its distribution be restricted to physicians able to meet certain qualifications.
I agree with AAPLOG’s insistence that these qualifications are insufficiently circumscribed to adequately safeguard the health of American women. And, these 14 unnecessary deaths are proof of this fact.
You can read a statement about Mifeprex on the AAPLOG website.
