While Barb and I were in Baton Rouge in April for the World Premier of my new WWII book, At First Light: A True World War II Story of a Hero, His Bravery, and an Amazing Horse, I was blessed to meet and work with a photojournalist at the local CBS station, WAFB, Rick Portier.
Rick interviewed me for a news piece on the book, WWII hero’s amazing story comes to light in a book written by son.
He also authored an article about the book that was picked up by AP and carried by CNN International, U.S. News and World Reports, and many other outlets literally around the world.
