7) How to Fast in “Ask Dr. Walt” in Today’s Christian Living

I enjoy being able to answer questions from the readers of Today’s Christian Living magazine in my “Ask Dr. Walt” column. Here is my single Q&A from the May 2022 issue:

  • Fruitful Fasting
    • I’ve done some food fasts that have lasted a few days. I’m considering trying a longer one. Any advice? —Faster in Idaho

8) Answers to Last Month’s Prayers

  • On May 11, Barb and I celebrated with 17 other couples at the Recommitment Ceremony and Graduation of this semester of the ReEngage Marriage Ministry we co-direct at Academy Christian Church. One of the couples began the semester as a divorced couple that arrived in separate cars. They are no planning to be remarried. We’re delighted for them!!!
  • We’ll be home for an entire month – it’s the first time in a long time. It was a delight.

9) Prayer Requests for Upcoming Events

  • June 1-2, Barb and I will attend a wedding in Denver and take a couple of days of R&R together.
  • On June 4, Barb and I will attend the annual “Walk for Life” to support Life Network (see above)
  • On June 28, I’ll be doing my every-10-year screening colonoscopy for colon cancer prevention.
