For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son

When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways. … Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. … For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

We wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. … But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. … For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. … Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
