Lord Have Mercy

The Lord’s mercy is trustworthy.

O Lord, out of the goodness of your love; in your great mercy turn to me. … Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name. … O Lord, have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death, that I may declare your praises. … May your mercy come quickly to meet us, for we are in desperate need. … The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion. … O my God, show mercy to me according to your great love. … Remember, O Lord, your great mercy and love.

You heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help. … God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. … He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. … Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. … I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.

Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. … The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. … His love endures forever.
