His Dwelling Place – 4

And rejoice before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name. … Your dwelling will be away from the earth’s richness.

In Judah God is known; his name is great in Israel. His tent is in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion. … In your dwelling you keep them safe. … A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. … If only I knew where to find him; if only I could go to his dwelling! … For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.

How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. … Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.

For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. But the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy in his dwelling place. Ascribe to the Lord, O families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength, ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
