We Can Stand – 2

Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.

All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. … There is no one righteous, not even one.

A person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. By the works of the law no one will be justified. … Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law.

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” … Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. … Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.

Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you. … Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. … Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. … For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! … But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. … In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
