How to Have a Good Day – Be Pleasant

But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful. Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the LORD.

Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise … A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.

Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven … For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone … Be kind and compassionate to one another … For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing … an aroma that brings life … as those sent from God.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! … encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you … May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
