Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way

The Lord said to Joshua: … “Take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan. … In the future when your descendants ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’ … tell them … ‘The hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.’”

I well remember them, yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. … I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.

I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. … They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works—and I will proclaim your great deeds. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. … I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. … Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
