The New York Times “Well” blog reported that at its annual conference as well as online in the journal Pediatrics, “the American Academy of Pediatrics issued recommendations for ‘return to learn’ checklists to alert doctors, school administrators and parents to potential cognitive and academic challenges to students who have suffered concussions.” (more…)

Yipes! Twelve percent of imported spices contaminated

The New York Times reports new findings released by the Food and Drug Administration found about “12 percent of spices brought to the United States are contaminated with insect parts, whole insects, rodent hairs and other things,” and almost “7 percent of spice imports examined by federal inspectors were contaminated with salmonella.” (more…)
