The Dark Side of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the brilliant (and omnipresent) pink-ribbon campaign is once again raising huge amounts of money in the “race for the cure.” But despite the billions of dollars dedicated walkers have brought in during recent decades, the breast cancer rate continues to soar … while the rates for all other major cancers decline. Ever wonder why?

My friend, Connie Pratt, President of Colorado Citizens for Life, answers the question this way:

I can’t help but remember that the AMA and top US cancer research centers (which accepted funding from the tobacco industry at least into the 60s and 70s) didn’t call for an investigation of the smoking-lung cancer link until 33 years after studies started confirming it.

Sad to say, medical groups and cancer fundraising businesses (which share interlocking directorates with Planned Parenthood) take the same attitude now, 52 years after studies –- even their own — began revealing a deadly abortion-breast cancer (ABC) link.

For example:

Did you know that, since 1957, scientists (most of them abortion supporters) have done considerable biological and experimental research which attests to the abortion-breast cancer link? Or that 29 of 38 international, peer-reviewed epidemiological studies confirm it?

Did you know that the link was supported in 13 of 16 US studies, most at least partially funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI)? (The first of two published studies specifically commissioned by NCI found an 800% increased risk for those under 18 and past their 8th week when they aborted. And ALL of those in the study who’d aborted as teens and had a family history developed the disease by age 45!)

Did you know a report from the NCI, the American Cancer Society, the CDC, and the National Association of Central Cancer Registries revealed a 40% increase in breast cancer from 1973 (the ROE year) to 1998 … but only among the youngest of three generations, those who’d had access to legal abortions? (Breast cancer used to affect 1 in 12, mostly elderly. Now it’s 1 in 7, many in their 30s or even 20s!)

For an explanation of the biology and of the epidemiological studies, click here. Connie goes on to say:

Groups which warn us when even one study shows possible harm from sleeping with an electric blanket are concealing a mountain of evidence about breast cancer’s most avoidable risk factor. They’re denying pregnant teens a chance for informed choice…and post-abortion women a chance for risk-reduction treatments and early detection.

Making matters infinitely worse, the Komen Foundation has given at least 100 grants — $711,485 in 2005/06 alone — to Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion chain.  (In April, the Denver affiliate gave Planned Parenthood $35,970. In the past, Aspen, North Colorado, and Springs affiliates have also awarded grants to Planned Parenthood.)

This is equivalent to an advocacy group for lung-cancer patients giving a hefty part of its precious donations to cigarette companies!

To learn more about the convincing ABC studies and the agenda-driven cover-up of them, you can review information at The Breast Cancer Prevention Institute or the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer. At the latter site, note especially the two YouTube clips and the Komen’s Dark Side video.
